What is a Chamber?
Chambers of Commerce is voluntary organizations of business and professional men and women who have joined together for the purpose of promoting the civic and commercial progress of their community.
The area’s economic well-being is related directly to the caliber of work that is done by the Chamber. This is why the Maricopa Chamber has a major impact on business, income and future growth of the Maricopa area.
There are two primary functions of a Chamber of Commerce: (1) it acts as the voice of the business and professional community and translates into action the group thinking of its members, and (2) it renders specific services of a type that can be most effectively rendered by a community organization both to its members and to the community as a whole.

What is an Ambassador?An Ambassador is an official representative of the Chamber of Commerce, a front-line volunteer.
Who can serve as an Ambassador?
Any current Chamber member in good standing may apply to serve as an Ambassador.
Why serve as an Ambassador?
Serving as an Ambassador allows you to become more involved in your business community. This results in increased networking opportunity, enhanced visibility of your business, and numerous opportunities to market and promote your products and services.

Harrah's provides a delicious breakfast with fruit, muffins, sliced ham, hickory smoked bacon, sausage, pancakes, assorted muffins, danishes, a seasonal fruit tray, and eggs. If you have never been to a monthly breakfast you are in for a treat. It is the best way to meet other local business owners and get more resources for growing your business. .

The Chamber offers a morning orientation session and continental breakfast the Second Tuesday of each month for new Chamber members and new employees of current member companies to learn about the Maricopa Chamber of Commerce. First-time attendees have the opportunity to give a 60-second commercial about their company.
Ribbon Cuttings
Ribbon Cuttings
A ribbon cutting is the ceremonial opening of a brand-new or newly-renovated/relocated business that has opened within the last 6 months. It can inaugurate a business’s first day of business or it can take place weeks after the business’s soft opening. The Chamber also honors ribbon cutting requests for anniversary celebrations. A ribbon cutting is not an automatic event to mark a new membership. And, yes, you actually cut a ribbon!

Although completed for the season, Network and 9 is another great event! It is a wonderful way to network, get to know other business owners, and play some golf. This is a seasonal event but much anticipated by those who participate each year.
