Since early 2016, Troyer has lead the Chamber while providing valuable insight and leadership as the Chamber has expanded. Since accepting the Executive Director position she has revamped the digital experience to our members and the public. The Chamber has increased membership by a net 12%, event attendance has seen an average 35% increase, and the member benefits program was expanded to include more personalized service - including one-on-one help - for businesses seeking to expand their digital presence in Maricopa.
Chamber Chairman, Chris Cahall, said, "On behalf of the entire membership and the Board of Directors, we are so grateful for the time Sara spent with the Chamber; she did a fantastic job. We are excited and looking forward to supporting Terri in her new position as our new Executive Director. The Board is confident that Terri will continue to support our members and foster the relationship we have with the City into the future."
Terri Crain, a seasoned Chamber executive, will be returning to Maricopa and to her position as the Chamber’s Executive Director starting May 15th. Terri served the Chamber in a leadership role from 2006 to 2011 before serving as CEO for Santa Clarita Valley Chamber in California.
While Terri enjoyed her time in California and the experience of leading a large 1,300 member Chamber, she is eager to return to Maricopa and her home in Rancho El Dorado.
Her professional passion is to help businesses succeed both large and small. She admittedly has a soft spot for small business and start-ups. Having been a business owner herself, she has insight into the challenges this group faces and the toolsets needed to support their success.
"The City of Maricopa is a great community full of passionate and committed people and I have always thought of it home. I am looking forward to re-engaging with the business community and doing the good work of the Chamber".
