The Membership Committee oversees all membership engagement or retention activities and also carries out any membership expansion efforts (membership drives etc.). Committee members contact all new members at 3-6-9 months after they join to help engage them and make sure they are receiving value for their membership. One of the key responsibilities of the committee is to regularly assess the value of membership, from time to time survey members, and provide a venue for discussion regarding new services and programs. This committee also oversees the creation and management of the new member packet.
